Soak Mask Components
WeeklyDisassemble the mask and soak all components (cushion, frame, headgear) in warm soapy water for 30 minutes. Rinse and air dry.
Clean Humidifier Chamber Thoroughly
WeeklySoak the humidifier chamber in a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water for 30 minutes. Rinse well and air dry.
Wash Tubing/Hose
WeeklyDisconnect the tubing and wash in warm soapy water. Hang to dry completely, ensuring no moisture remains inside.
Inspect Mask for Wear
MonthlyCheck the mask cushion, headgear, and straps for signs of wear, cracks, or deterioration. Replace components showing significant wear.
Clean or Replace Filters
MonthlyRemove the air filter from the CPAP machine. Disposable filters should be replaced; reusable filters should be washed with water and dried completely.
Wipe Down CPAP Machine Exterior
MonthlyUse a slightly damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the CPAP machine. Avoid getting water into any openings. Ensure it is dry before use.
Deep Clean & Replace Consumables
Every 6 MonthsReplace the mask cushion, headgear, tubing, and filters. Deep clean the humidifier chamber with vinegar solution. Inspect all connections and seals.
